How to Become a Member of First Baptist Church St. Simons |

At First Baptist Church St. Simons Island, we accept members in four ways: |
| |
| |
- By professing your faith in Christ as Lord and personal savior, requesting baptism. Baptism is a symbol of forgiveness, cleansing and new life in Jesus Christ. Jesus told His followers to be baptized to attest to their faith and new life.
- By a letter of membership from a church of like faith and order. A letter is not an actual letter, but understood as a recommendation to be requested from the church of your former membership.
- Watch care relationships are considered a part of the church fellowship with all the privileges and responsibilities except voting, yet without removing your name from a home church or permanent residence.
- By coming on statement of having been a member of a church of like faith and order at some time previous though now a part of another form of Christian fellowship.
