EVENTS
All of our trips aren't listed here, because there's too much to list!
We go bowling, mini-golf, watch a movie, etc. at random times. I'll just give you the highlights for now.

...Rather than sell discount cards, Christmas trees, or trinkets, the Youth at FBC raise funds for trips by removing a very dangerous Flock of Flamingos out of people's yeards for a small fee.
...Due to the Environmental Protection Act we cannot remove the Flock without giving them a new home.
...So every night during October, we move the Flock from one yard to another raising funds for trips and events. (This is the story Rory made up in his warped little mind, anyway.)
...In reality, church members get to Flock other members and make their yard look tacky for a day.
...It gets crazy and we're hoping to start a few family feuds out there.
...Each youth gets their own share of the proceeds that goes into their own account.
...The more times they help, the more money they get to pay for trips and other stuff.

...Out of all the fun things we do, the awesome trips we take, and the rockin' events we may throw, the summer mission trips are the best thing we do.

We take a week during the summer time and get out of here.
...We go someplace where people need help.

It could be a new roof, painting, cleaning, helping out with neighborhood kids, or hundreds of other things.

The point is, there are a lot of people who need help.

The greatest thing we can do is help them.

This summer, we're going to Beaumont, Texas (right near Galveston) where Hurricane Ike hit last year.

The area was devastated. It promises to be challenging, but the best things always are.

We'll be staying with PASSPORT Camps again this year.

A Lock-In is where we stay in the church all night playing games, goofing off in the gym, playing manhunt or sardines, and just generally being awesome. |

...It's like a summer mission trip packed into a weekend.
...Youth from all over Georgia meet up and have a ton of fun together.
...There are mission projects that help people on Saturday and the rest of the time could be in worship, playing games, or having parties.
