Sunday Worship Services

The Early Worship Service at First Baptist Church on St. Simons Island, held every Sunday at 8:30 AM, offers a welcoming environment for both locals and visitors. This service includes traditional hymns, prayer, readings of scripture, and a Morning Message.
Childcare is available for Pre-K and under during worship.

Join us in Fellowship Hall to visit with our community, make new friends, and enjoy morning beverages and snacks.

Our Sunday School Classes for adults and children Pre-K to 12th grade take place at 9:30 AM in designated classrooms. Sunday School Teachers offer an engaging lesson each week and care for infants and toddlers.

Our Traditional Worship Service is held every Sunday at 10:30 AM and offers a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. This service features traditional hymns with a full choir, prayers, readings of scripture, a children’s message, a morning message, and a sermon.
Children K-5th grade may attend our children’s choir and worship during the 10:30 AM service.
Childcare is available for Pre-K and under during worship.

Join our Men’s Prayer Group at Sweet Mama’s every Tuesday at 7:00 AM for fellowship, prayer requests, and discussion.

Enjoy exercising with others in this fun fitness class for all ages and mobility levels. Exercises are conducted from your seat with music and an encouraging coach.

Join us in the gym to play Pickleball for all levels.

Women of the Word (W.O.W.) meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM for a dinner fellowship with a Bible study, devotion, or testimony. Women of all ages are invited!

Meet with friends and enjoy dinner in fellowship with our congregation.

Prayer requests may be shared in a welcoming and caring environment.

Join us each Wednesday evening during the school year at 5:45 PM in the Fellowship Hall for inspiring, interactive, multi-media Bible studies led by Senior Pastor Rev. Rob James and Rev. Kelly Beckley that includes activities for the entire family.
5:30-6:45 -Youth Band Practice! Learn how to play new instruments and enjoy fellowship and fun with our newest addition to Wednesday Nights!

All are welcome to join our choir which rehearses Wednesdays at 6:45 PM and performs during the Sunday 10:30 AM service. If you are interested in joining, please email music@fbcssi.org.

Children's Choir meets immediately after the Children's sermon in the 10:30 AM Worship Service and ends at 11:45 AM. We "make a joyful noise unto the Lord" upstairs in the Sanctuary-by-the-Sea classroom, RM 211. All children in grades K-5 are welcome to join us!
Wednesday Night 5:45 PM-6:30 PM Children’s Activities and Mission Adventures in the Gym, Christian Life Center, and the Children’s Wing.

Want to learn how to play instruments and use your talents for something bigger? Join us every Wednesday night from 5:45–6:30 PM for Youth Band! No experience required — just bring a positive attitude, a love for Jesus, and the drive to rock out!SUNDAY NIGHTS - Join us every Sunday from 5-7PM for a youth event! Enjoy fellowship and fun as we learn about God and have fun along the way!
